Jerusha Kasch has served in leadership roles in higher education for more than 14 years, building and directing campus emergency management programs. She currently serves as Director of Emergency Management/University Resilience for the University of Hawaii System. Immediately prior, she served as Director of Emergency Management at Rice University. In addition to nearly 20 years of experience as an emergency manager, Jerusha worked in multiple response systems, including EMS, law enforcement, hospitals, and clinical care.
She is a Certified Emergency Manager (International Association of Emergency Managers) and specializes in building comprehensive emergency management programs and incident response teams from the ground up.
