Elizabeth Findley most recently served as Assistant Director of Emergency Management at Illinois State University, where she led campus emergency planning, training, exercises, and continuity initiatives. She also served as the University’s Continuity Program Manager, coordinating operational resilience efforts across more than 100 university departments. Her experience includes emergency planning, continuity planning, and project management to support organizational preparedness and resilience.
Prior to her time at Illinois State University, Elizabeth spent over five years with the Illinois Emergency Management Agency & Office of Homeland Security, supporting executive leadership and state emergency operations during significant incidents and events, including historic flooding, civil unrest, and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Elizabeth holds a Master of Public Administration and a Graduate Certificate in Emergency Preparedness & Homeland Security from the University of Illinois Springfield. She is also a graduate of the National Emergency Management Advanced Academy.
